The Jageshwar Group of Temples is a group of ancient Hindu temples located in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. This 16th-century temple complex is considered one of the largest and most sacred Shiva temples in North India.
Nestled in the Lesser Himalayas, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a high-altitude nature reserve located at an altitude of 1800-2500 meters. Part of the Western Ghats, it spans across parts of Almora and Nainital districts and is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International. This sanctuary offers a diverse ecosystem with vibrant flora and fauna, including leopards, wild boars, and numerous bird species.
